Normal Concrete

The strength of this highly-used concrete is one of the reasons its preferred for the construction of walls, buildings, skyscrapers and other structures. Made with aggregate of sand and stone and water, it has a setting time of about 90 minutes and is fantastic for structural bases and flatwork. Multiple applications will be needed for this mix so that it remains strong. This is for mostly flat work as it is more difficult to decorate or stamp. This mix is flame-resistant and can protect original structure.

High- Strength Concrete

High Strength concrete is one of the best mixes, using a small water to aggregate ratio. The setting time for high-strength concrete mixes is loner than normal or quick-dry concrete but allows for more time to perfect and add and sort of decoration to the material. This mix is fantastic for large building structures and skyscrapers and handles flooding, and other structural damage well due to its strength. High-strength concrete mixes are all a great option for high-traffic areas such as walkways, and parking lots as they have strong durability and are flame-resistant.

High-Performance Concrete

Similar to high-strength concrete mix, this concrete mix is known for its durability and strength. Used for large building structures, pillars, concrete facades and skyscrapers, this mix will cause little to maintenance and a longer lifetime. High-Performance concrete mixes are stronger than high-strength, flame-resistant and more durable, but also is more expensive and has to be properly applied.

Fast- Setting Concrete

When you’re under a time crunch or working with repair or filling for construction projects, fast-setting concrete mix is your best option! This is best used for setting items into the ground such as fences, wood, patios, and mailboxes. Its easier to use, require deposit in the location and water to soak and setting in 20-40 minutes. This can ensure that you can perform your project in a timely manner while securing your items.

Air-Entrained Concrete

Air-entrained concrete mix is a newer mix that is designed for special purposes such as improving the durability of existing concrete or to help freeze-thaw. This mix also can help increase workability on concrete while staying in a “plastic” state. This mix by itself is less-durable than high-performance or high-strength and takes longer to dry than fast-setting. This a perfect, cost-efficient way to cover existing structure, create design, or repair concrete.
